Paige's New Do

I think it's adorable...now if she'll only let me blow dry it like the hair stylist did! :)

Who doesn't love pine nut soup?

Paige "cooked" her first meal tonight...pine nut soup. I thought she was just playing in the sink, but I walked into the dining room to see the picture below. She said she was cooking dinner for us. So cute. It took three pots, a bottle brush, half a bottle of soap, a cucumber, a measuring cup and several spoons - but here is the result. Oh, served with bottled water. A delicacy.

And Dona, so far we're not sure about the eye color. Sometimes they look blue, sometimes green...but they are SO dark, who knows what will happen! Will you keep you updated if they turn brown so you can add her to the fan club :)

The last trip to the beach

So I took Paige and Sloane down to the beach for the week...before Paige starts her full year of school and activities. Sloane slept pretty much the whole way, and BOTH of them slept at one point, which I documented :) Paige got a lot of beach time with Poppy and she also doted on her sister, as usual.

Random pictures from Sloane's second week...I now understand when people say they took less pictures of their 2nd children! I barely have time to pick up the camera. We're doing great and Paige is being an amazing big sister. Now if Sloane would only stop getting her days and nights mixed up...

Yea, the big day finally arrived! Here she is - born August 1, 2006, at 1:25pm. 8lb1oz and 21". Sorry the only picture I have of her and I together I'm not wearing many clothes! Oh well! :)
